Parkside Resort is a gated, 92-acre resort community in the mountains of Eastern Tennessee, an hour east of Knoxville. With the Great Smoky Mountains National Park at our doorstep, Parkside Resort offers our Guests a truly unique environment surrounded by over 500,000 acres of federally protected parklands. Recreational amenities will include a heated, saline outdoor swimming pool (Opening Easter 2010), two sand volleyball courts and an 18-hole miniature golf course (now open), designed by Lewis Bicknell. For the avid or casual fisherman, the Smoky Mountains are home to miles of streams and rivers teeming with native green trout, brown trout and rainbow trout. Hiking and horseback riding is but a short drive away. And while Parkside Resort affords you beauty and privacy, it is close to life's daily needs. Nearby commercial centers provide shopping, dining and superior recreational opportunities. On site concierge services are available as well.
Parkside Resort is located a short, 2.5 miles from Light 10 in action-packed Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. You'll enjoy wide paved roads, lots of good parking, and easy access no matter what the weather. In the Summer, you'll have access to and free use of the outdoor pool and you'll get to enjoy the Parkside Dive In - that's right, Dive In. Kinda like a Drive In, except that the movies will be shown by the pool on a 16' x 9' screen. Year round amenities include the Parkside Kountry Klub (our new 18 hole miniature golf course), the large covered picnic pavilion, 3 walking / hiking trails, and an observation area with views that seem to go on forever.
